Latitude Apparel was conceived during founder Roger Lumpp's chemotherapy treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2010. As a way of getting through scans, chemo sessions, or recovery periods he would close his eyes and project himself to a place he loves in life (his Latitude). The positive emotions associated with his Latitude are what helped him get through his longest scans and toughest recovery periods.
Along his cancer journey, Roger realized that everyone has that place they escape to mentally when they are in a tough spot. Latitude Apparel seeks to increase the amount of positive energy in the world by providing a platform for people to discover and communicate their preferred Latitude. Through living the emotions associated with our Latitude we can lift our lives above the stresses that inhibit our growth as individuals and as a society.
